Self-Tapping Wood Screws

Self-tapping wood screws come to a point at the end and can be started with hand-strength into most softwood frames. In hardwood frames the hole should be pre-drilled. 3/8 x 6 self-tapping wood screws are used to attach strap-hangers for attaching hanging wire.
